Infection

Wow what a week we had. My son has been running a fever of 103.3. He said his teeth and head hurt. I gave him some Motrin and told him to lay down on the couch. I was getting ready to leave, his dad was there. He was bawling in pain. I was so pissed cause it was the one night a week where the girls and i would go out drinking and dancing. His dad is an ass so we both took him to the 1st. They said for some odd reason his tongue was badly infected. They think he bit it, Ya, so he got antibiotics, pain meds all via IV and was gonna need to stay at least 1 night probably 2 and maybe more. So I told his dad I am going out and will be back later that night. I got a bit too drunk and fell asleep at my friends house.
Went back to see the kid the next day partially hungover and his dad was pissed. So I told him to go home and come back later. He did. My son went home that day. We will wait for the swelling to go down and just pop that tongue ring back in. Thank God the er staff didnt realize it was a piercing that got infected lol. He is sucking on a popsicle watching his favorite cartoon laying next to me. I love that kid
